In the workflow you setup many different actions, that can be executed automatically. These actions are called components.
⚠ Components disabled by system settings
From version 4.4.0, workflow components can be disabled by system-level security settings. A disabled component cannot be selected or used, and the designer shows a message explaining why instead of failing silently.
Outbound connections — components that open a network connection to a user-supplied address are grouped into HTTP and REST, FTP, Windows Share, message queue, signing and e-signature, document management, e-mail and network printer. When a group is not allowed, selecting one of its components shows "Outbound network connections are disabled by system policy" and the workflow cannot be saved. Their connection test actions are blocked as well.
Native command execution - the "Execute native O/S command" component requires this setting to be enabled. It is disabled by default.
Database execution - the database input and output components, XPath database lookup and custom SQL components require at least one database execution method to be allowed. "Allow database selects" is disabled by default.

If you are searching for a specific workflow component, the fastest is probably then you search for the component by typing a few relevant words as a search criteria in the component selection pop up window.
The workflow components are divided by both how advanced they are and also what type of component it is.
The tabs for advanced level are:
Basic | This contains the mostly used, simple workflow components. |
Shortcuts | This is less used, more advanced workflow components. |
Advanced | This contains the most advanced and seldomly used workflow components. |
