This article covers the installation of the remote client. For the complete setup and configuration of remote clients in InterformNG2, see Remote clients.

1. Download the remote client

Download the installation file for your platform:

• Windows: InterFormNG2_RC.zip
• Linux: InterFormNG2_RC_Linux.zip

Both links always hold the latest release of the remote client.

The remote client must be the same version as the InterformNG2 host it connects to. If your host does not run the latest version, contact Interform support and ask for the remote client that matches your version.

2. Run the installer

On Windows, unzip the downloaded file and run the .exe file. The installer opens on the welcome screen. Select Next to start the installation.

Select I accept the agreement, then select Next.

3. Set the installation paths

State the path where the InterformNG2 client is to be installed. The default path is shown below.

Then state the path for the data files for the InterformNG2 client.

4. Complete the installation

Continue through the remaining screens to complete the installation.
