Activate license code

In order to activate a license code for InterformNG2 you first need to sign on to the system administration. That can only be done with a user, that is a system administrator.

For a new installation of InterformNG2 you can sign on as the user admin. The first time password is 'password' in lower case, but you will be forced to change it the first time you sign on.

When you have signed on you need to select Admin and Licensing in the top ribbon:



Then you will see this:

On the left you can see the license keys, that are currently installed. On the right you see the section, Register License. This is where you can register your InterformNG2 license key.
The license key can be installed either as an online license key or as a file. The recommendation is to install the license key as an online license key, but that require that your InterformNG2 installation is online and is able to reach the InterformNG2 license server. 

Install an online license key

If InterformNG2 has access to the Interform license server, then you will see online with a green dot on the top right of the license screen:  

That means, that you can enter (or copy and paste) a license key instead of installing a license file as described below:

On the license screen you see this on the right:   

 


To install a license key you click the Online License Key tab as shown above, copy and paste or type in the license key, and then press Get license to register the installation to start using the license key. Internet access and a connection to the Interform license server is required.


Install a license file

This section describes how to install a license file in InterformNG2 (instead of a license key as above).
To the right of the license screen you see this:

 To install a license file you click the License File tab as shown above. Now click the Choose file icon, select your license file from your local files and click Upload license File.
